Take your measurements wherever you are. You don't need a tailor, you just need a friend and a measuring tape. It will take you less than 10 minutes to take all of your measurements. When taking measurements, keep the measuring tape comfortably snug, but not tight. Tailors will make the clothes so that they fit to your body, with the correct allowances.
